They should, and at a good dealer they do. Every pre-owned watch Diamond Brothers sells comes with a 12-month mechanical warranty. Watches that have been serviced by our in-house watchmaker also come with a service report.

What our warranty covers

The 12-month mechanical warranty covers the watch’s movement – the mechanism that keeps time. If it stops running properly through no fault of yours, we’ll put it right. Please contact us for the full terms.

Why servicing matters on older watches

A mechanical watch needs servicing every few years to keep its oils fresh and its parts running smoothly. That’s why our in-house watchmaker inspects and tests every watch before we sell it.

What happens before a watch is listed

1. Our in-house watchmaker inspects it and checks that all parts are original.
2. It’s timed and tested to make sure it runs properly.
3. It’s listed with a 12-month mechanical warranty.

Unpolished by default

We sell watches unpolished to preserve their original finish, which collectors value. If you’d prefer it polished, our professional polishing service is available on request before collection or delivery.

What about the manufacturer’s warranty?

Some newer watches still have time left on the brand’s original guarantee, which runs from the date on the warranty card. Where that applies, it sits alongside our own 12-month warranty.
