Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a watch service take?
Smaller jobs such as bracelet adjustments and pressure tests are usually done the same day. A full service takes longer, depending on the watch and any parts needed. We will give you a timescale with your quote.
How often should my watch be serviced?
Most manufacturers recommend a service every five to ten years, depending on the watch and how it is worn. If your watch is losing or gaining time, or the power reserve has dropped, it is worth having it checked sooner.
Is my service guaranteed?
Yes. Every watch service comes with a one-year warranty.
Do you use genuine parts?
Yes. We use genuine replacement components to protect the authenticity and value of your watch.
Will you polish my watch during a service?
Only if you ask us to. Many collectors prefer an unpolished case, so polishing is always your choice.
Can you repair vintage watches?
Yes. We regularly work on vintage Rolex, Cartier and Omega watches and take care to keep them as original as possible.
Do I need an appointment?
No, you are welcome to walk in during opening hours. Booking ahead means our watchmaker can give your watch their full attention when you arrive. Book an appointment.
